About Jorge

My name is Jorge O. Santos Berrios, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree at Ana G. Méndez University, Gurabo Campus, in Puerto Rico. I have developed professionally in various areas of nutrition, such as education and promotion, and have collaborated with both public and private agencies to offer my services as a consultant. Additionally, I hold a basic coaching license for training soccer players and a certification in safe food handling. I have worked with Licensed Nutritionist Sandra Ortiz on nutrition education and promotion projects. I have also taken classes with Licensed Nutritionist Carmen Nevares, former president of the College of Nutritionists and current nutritionist at the Sports School in Puerto Rico. I have served as a soccer coach for the Taurinos de Cayey Football Club in both youth and junior divisions, and I have also worked as an equipment manager for their senior team, assisting with player hydration and recovery.
